This Saturday, July 30, take a walk—or have a seat—down Bell Street in Los Alamos for the 2nd Annual Chair Faire. From 10am-4pm, the town’s main drag will be transformed into a gallery for the quirky crafts of chair making, collecting, and decorating.
Part show, part flea market, the event welcomes residents, collectors, and just about anyone with chairs to display their tush-worthy seating devices. After general viewing, there will be a chair competition and auction. The day will also include chair-painting and chair-sculpting demonstrations by area artists, live music, and much more.
