John Rose

ENVIRONMENTAL AND FRIENDLY: John Rose has been working for The Indy since 2001, distributing papers every Thursday in the Santa Ynez Valley and Lompoc and now also maintaining and replacing the racks in which those papers are displayed all over the county. When racks are replaced, the old ones aren’t ditched, but refurbished, in what Rose emphasized is a rather environmentally conscious endeavor. He hummed cheerily as he picked up some windows at the office to use in giving new life to the dispensers, a process that involves power washing, sanding, and repainting with rolled on water-based paint (rather than spray paint). Way to go, sir, and thanks for making us look so good!
