JLSB has awarded the Community Assistance Fund in support of community programs that help improve the lives of at-risk children, youth and families in the community, for more than fifteen years. Since its inception, the JLSB has donated almost $100,000 to more than 100 organizations.
JLSB created the Community Assistance Fund in order to extend support to a wider range of local charitable organizations than it could reach through member volunteer efforts. Applications for the Community Assistance Fund are accepted every year from January until March. For more information about the Junior League, call (805) 963-2704 or visit www.jlsantabarbara.org.
