While serving a warrant for their arrest on Tuesday 4/13, Goleta police officers discovered 20-year-old Luis Munoz and 48-year-old Ted Munoz discussing the sale of narcotics amid an overwhelming smell of marijuana emitting from their residence on the 200 block of Pebble Beach Drive in Goleta. After calling in for backup assistance, the police entered the apartment to find the father-son dealing duo amid a myriad of amateur growing materials including a wall of different names of strains and price listings for the sale of marijuana, as well as other indoor growing paraphernalia. The officers confiscated 10 pounds of marijuana and seized equipment used to grow it. Ted and Luis Munoz were arrested for illegal cultivation and sale of marijuana and criminal conspiracy. Both men were booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on $100,000 bail.
