The Walking Company — the world’s largest specialty retailer of comfort footwear — opened nine new retail stores in 2010, bringing its total number of retail locations to 212 throughout the nation.

The Walking Company is the largest comfort footwear retailer in the world and offers over 60 premium brands of luxury comfort shoes. Their corporate offices are in Santa Barbara.

In 2010 new stores opened in Deer Park, IL; San Francisco, CA; Paramus, NJ; Geneva, IL; Philadelphia, PA; Charlottesville, VA; Arlington, TX; Omaha, NE; and Chattanooga, TN.
