A structural fire at approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday night forced WillBridge House to relocate its six female occupants. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to WillBridge House founder Lynnelle Williams, who is unsure when the shelter will reopen. Since 2005, WillBridge House has helped at-risk homeless women and mentally ill individuals reintegrate into society. Before any work is done, the building owner will have to secure permits for renovation, Williams said.
