Thanks to all the volunteers and performers for creating a wonderful Solstice Parade. But religious proselytizing should not be a part of the parade. A few years ago it was evangelicals jumping in ahead and shouting to the crowds. This time it was a hierarchical-historical group, perhaps appropriate at Fiesta, but not at our Solstice with its freedom-loving pagan origins! What a downer. And it also slowed down the whole pace of the parade!—William Noack
