An 800-square-foot room at Santa Barbara County’s Betteravia government building will now be home to the county’s new back-up data center after a unanimous vote by the Board of Supervisors on 4/13. The current center is at capacity. Needs included a high volume air conditioning unit as well as the ability to provide uninterrupted power. The infrastructure allows the county’s computer systems to interact with one another.
