The National Weather Service unit in Oxnard issued a flash flood warning today at 10:55 a.m., lasting until 1 p.m. With the rate of rainfall nearly one inch per hour, the agency reported that flash flooding and debris flows are likely in the Jesusita Fire burn area. County authorities have advised residents to be aware that flooding and debris flows have the potential to block roadways and culverts.
