The Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum (653 Paseo Nuevo) recently announced the rescheduled date for acclaimed multimedia artist Marnie Weber. In an effort to raise $50,000, the Ensemble Theatre’s 15-member Board of Directors recently announced it would match every dollar donated to the company up to a $25,000 maximum. Carpinteria author Brooks Hansen will sign copies of his new historic novel, John the Baptizer, today, Thursday, June 18, at Tecolote Book Shop (1470 E. Valley Rd.) from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Hansen’s other works include 1996’s The Chess Garden and 2008’s The Brotherhood of Joseph.
