As of 11 a.m. this morning, La Cumbre Junior High School and the Santa Barbara Community Academy have been closed as a result of poor air quality inside the schools. Parents should now go pick up their children.
The list of closed schools also includes the following: California Learning Center, San Roque, Marymount, Santa Barbara Middle School, Sunrise Montessori, Little Angels Pre-School, Parma Children’s Center, Notre Dame, Monte Vista Elementary, Hope School Elementary, Peabody Charter, Cesar Chavez Charter, Roosevelt Elementary, Cleveland Elementary, Franklin Elementary. and First Presbyterian Child Care Center.
