The District Attorney’s Office has no timetable for when, if at all, charges would be filed against the 10 unnamed people allegedly involved in starting the Tea Fire. As of Monday morning, DA Eric Hanson hadn’t seen any reports from the several agencies investigating the cause of the fire. Given the short work week – the DA’s office is closed Thursday and Friday – and the scope of the anticipated reports, it is unlikely a decision will be made one way or another. Santa Barbara City College confirmed nine of the 10 allegedly involved in a bonfire that eventually led to the fire attended the school.
