Two men suspected of selling cocaine and ecstasy in Isla Vista were arrested by detectives from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, October 30. Joseph DeJesus, 23-whom police believe is a Northern California resident making regular weekend drug trafficking runs to I.V.-and Isla Vista resident David Reed, 22, were charged with Possession for Sale of Cocaine and Ecstasy. Having served a search warrant, officials said that police investigated an apartment located on the 6500 block of Cordoba Road, finding more than 1,500 ecstasy pills, more than three ounces of cocaine, and about $7,200 in cash.
