Enjoy the largest used book sale in the tri counties! This year, with thousands of titles, the sale includes especially good selections in the Art, Cookbook, and Foreign Language categories. The sale kicks off with a special opening night reception on Thursday, September 18, from 5-9 p.m. For a $25 admission fee, book lovers and collectors can enjoy wine, appetizers, and first choice of thousands of titles! The regular sale, which is free to the public, will continue September 19-28, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Earl Warren Showgrounds in Warren Hall (3400 Calle Real) every day. Additional books are displayed daily. Proceeds from this event help support Planned Parenthood of S.B., Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties. This nonprofit organization provides family planning, responsible sexuality education, and preventive health care throughout the tri counties.
