Cava Is Nice to Rice

Montecito's Latin Mainstay Offers Up a Paella Night

Thu Aug 14, 2008 | 09:00pm

Cava Restaurant’s prime location in the heart of Montecito’s Coast Village Road has helped make it a staple in Santa Barbara’s restaurant scene. The authentic and consistently tasty Latin cuisine paired with the beautiful outdoor terraza and cozy fire-lit interior has ensured its longevity. Every Wednesday night they host Fiesta Paella a 3-course sumptuous Spanish dinner with live Flamenco guitar. Dinner includes a refreshing glass of either spiced Sangria, Albarino (Spanish white wine), or Passion Fruit infused Iced Tea. The three courses start with your choice of Roasted Tortilla Soup or Cava Caesar Salad. A colorful confetti-sprinkled Simmering Seafood, Chicken Andaluz, or Vegetarian Paella follows, coming out of the kitchen steaming with a lemon slice to squeeze over the rice dish as a finishing touch. Dessert is fresh summer strawberries with shaved chocolate and sweet cream. If you are looking to spice up your summertime restaurant experiences, check out Cava’s Paella Night.
