On 7/1, California doctors treating people on Medi-Cal-federal-state health insurance for the very poor-began receiving 10 percent less for their services. S.B. physicians get a temporary reprieve while their CenCal-managed care program uses its reserves to pay them, but dentists will not dodge the cut.
