After almost two weeks of hanging onto life in Cottage Hospital, Gregory Ghan passed away June 10. Ghan, 53, was viciously attacked on May 31 in Isla Vista, and was placed on life support machines due to the extent of his injuries. He was taken off those systems today. Ghan was known to be a transient who frequented Isla Vista. Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing their investigation and are seeking any witnesses or information regarding this attack.
