During a trial hearing on 1/3, Gregory Edwards pled guilty to first-degree murder charges. Edwards will be sentenced on 1/31, and faces 25 years to life in prison for the murder of Korrina Dee Nicholas, a 27-year-old who was sexually assaulted and strangled in Santa Barbara in 1992. Edwards wasn’t arrested for the murder until 2006, when his DNA was found to match evidence from the crime scene.
