The work of several Brooks Institute students will be distributed this winter as part of Territory Ahead’s winter marketing campaign and the release of its seasonal catalog, which reaches 14 million customers; in addition to the wide exposure, the students whose work was selected were also granted scholarships. The images were selected from a photography scholarship competition created earlier this year by Territory Ahead and Brooks Institute. In need of new, fresh photography for its winter catalog, the Territory Ahead solicited Brooks Institute’s students for help. Originally, the company planned to select 10 photographs and award an equal number of tuition scholarships. However, company officials were so impressed with the submissions, they selected 16 photographs and awarded a total of $8,000 in scholarships to 10 students. Due to the success of this year’s program, Territory Ahead has decided to make the winter stock photography competition an annual event.
