The arraignment for Santa Barbara Boy Scouts of America volunteer Al Stein will occur on 1/7/08, amidst allegations of suspicious conduct with two minors during his time at Boy Scouts Troop 36’s Christmas tree lot. According to Stein’s attorney Steve Balash, Stein was very forthcoming with authorities concerning the allegations and was released from jail on his own recognizance. Balash believes the case will be resolved quickly.
