A ribbon-cutting on 12/8 at the Boys and Girls Club located on the city’s Eastside celebrated the fact that it will now be open on Saturdays, 10 a.m.4 p.m., for the next year, thanks to a donation from Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. It has been five years since the club was open on weekends. Meanwhile, the Westside Boys and Girls Club still lacks funding to open on weekends.
