Docents will give interpretive tours of the monarch butterflies and their Ellwood Mesa Open Space habitat, commencing on 12/8 and continuing through mid February, every weekend from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The Goleta City Council authorized setting aside $30,000 in this year’s budget as a Butterfly Mitigation Fund-a portion of the $200,000 provided by Comstock Homes Development for butterfly studies and education.
