Santa Barbara Police are looking for a suspect accused of laundering money, albeit in an unconventional sense. A woman contacted police on 11/24 claiming she had given $4,000 to another woman with the intention of having it cleansed of bad luck. The purported money cleaner has apparently skipped town, police said, but the search yielded a second alleged victim, who claims he gave the suspect another $1,000 for “cleaning.”
