As of 7/1, Santa Barbara residents will see a rise in their monthly water, trash, and sewer fees. The rate increase – 3.5% for water and waste services and 6% for wastewater services – was approved by the City Council as part of its 10-year plan to better develop the city’s water system and keep up with economic inflation.
