Celebrate your independence by choosing from the host of holiday options this Fourth of July:

•The Santa Barbara Symphony’s July 4th Concert (see picture).

•The City of S.B. and SPARKLE team up with Boom Boom productions for the 2007 Freedom Celebrations and Fireworks Show. Two hours prior to the show, the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West will perform patriotic music. Wednesday, July 4, 9pm. West Beach. Visit santabarbaraca.gov.

•Three hundred pairs of boots will be on displaycourtesy of the S.B. Veterans for Peaceto symbolize the California soldiers who have lost their lives in Iraq. Wednesday, July 4, 9am-4pm. On the grassy area on the north side of Cabrillo Blvd., between Garden St. and Calle Puerto Vallarta.

•The Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration will feature live music, hayrides, fire-truck rides, games, and food. Wednesday, July 4, 11am-4pm. Stow House-Rancho La Patera, 304 N. Los Carneros Rd., Goleta. $5. Call 681-7216.
