Uptown Drinking and Dining Stalwart Goes Back in Time
To celebrate its 50th birthday this Sunday and Monday, the
Tee-Off — that longtime dining and drinking
establishment located at 3627 State Street — is giving us a gift:
On December 10 and 11, they are rolling back prices to what they
were when the restaurant first opened in 1956.
Now, if a nickel could get you anything from a candy bar to a comic
book in those days, think how cheap prime rib must have been!
(Unfortunately this retro mood doesn’t apply to cocktails, but
those are a bargain anyway.) It’s first come, first served, so book
yourself an early tee time.
