Mystery fans should head to Chaucer’s Books on Monday, October
30, for that’s where retired UCSB professor Maria Marotti will be
signing copies of her debut novel A Question of Class. Marotti’s
book is set in Santa Abelina, a town much like Santa Barbara, and
is based on many of her experiences as a professor in UCSB’s
Italian department since 1987. She’ll start her signing at 7 p.m.
