Big First-Look Deal for Montecito

Ivan Reitman and Tom Pollock, principals of the Montecito
Picture Company, have announced the formation of Cold Spring
Picture LLC, a financial venture that will produce 10 movies per
year with a first-look agreement at DreamWorks. The goal of the
project is to continue to produce the type of successful comedies
with which Reitman, Pollock, and Montecito have been associated in
the past, such as Road Trip and Old School. The first Cold Spring
film, Disturbia, has completed principal photography. The total
value of the investment for Cold Spring, which was coordinated by
Merrill Lynch and Société Général, is stated as approximately $200
million.
