As part of Read Around the World month, the UCSB Women’s Center
will collect children’s books of all languages in an effort to
combat illiteracy and benefit less-fortunate children. The drive
welcomes childhood textbooks, dictionaries, pop-up books, fiction,
and biographies appropriate for ages up to 12. Books will be
gathered for the entire month of March with drop-off points at
various locations on the UCSB campus, including the Gevirtz School
of Education, Office of Student Life, and all offices of apartment
living and student housing.
