WAILING WALL WELCOMES INDY: Though the paper has certainly traveled in recent years, The Santa Barbara Independent made its holiest stop yet last month when our distribution manager, Scott Kaufman, dragged a copy along with him to visit the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. "We wanted to see Israel, and my daughter and her husband were there for business and ended up showing us around," said Kaufman, though he was happy to come home. "Israel was amazing, but God bless America." If you want to show off where you've been with a copy of our paper, email the picture to tips@independent.com.
