Wow did this hit home. I love your idea and hope you will continue your new tradition. I grew up with a Jewish father and protestant mother and no religious training. As a mother of three and soon to be grandma I embrace the fun of the holidays. Cooking with sugar, singing Christmas songs, and sending cards, all without the sanctions of the physical church.
