The tragedy of this loss is that some "new school" judge will replace him.
Idiot Commissioners fill his void, completely disregarding legalities, and the impact that litigation has on families and their financial future.
Oh, and lets not forget the gender bias that is rampant in our family law system. Are you a man? Forget about being considered important to your children by the family law judges.
June 3rd will be our chance to replace him.
But is there anyone who has honor and knows that the legal system is more about sucking up to the judge, or not offending the local lawyers whom they are against, rather then defending or advocating for their own clients?
I would just like to see everone go and rate the people who run the family law world - go to www . LocalFamilyLaw . com and rate:

Supervisors
Mediators
Evaluators
Can anyone be trusted?

I can't believe that such sophmoric responses about the authors sexuality is so easily approved by the editors! Good heavens!

Well just putting in my 2 cents worth. I agree that both papers lack depth and quality writing and even decent editing skills. There is serious stuff happening and neither paper is dealing with them or investigating. Maybe they can't spend the money it takes to get good talent. aybe they dont know what talent is?
No, I'm not a writer, so dont tell me to put up or shut up. Perhaps a real paper like the LA TIMES will come by and spend some resources to capture theis weak market.

Ahh the wonders of self mutilation. Hey Starshine - I am dissappointed that you are so insecure in your self-esteem that you feel the need to accessorize the very attractive face that God gave you.
Even though you may teach college kids, YOU AREN'T IN COLLEGE. AND, if you have done this, why not plop in a little rose on your breast, start short stem because in a surprisingly short period of time it will become a long stem rose. brahhahaa.
But seriously, how about tatoos? a big flower on your face.

Ahh - another pointless, gurgling babble of emptiness. You call this writing? It isn't even worth the time I invested in reading it. Can it be that the authors life is so devoid of meaning that they are left talking about relationships on TV instead of the relationships they claim to have?
Gay Girl/straight world. this article should be renamed Lame girl / self-made boring girl.
Hey GG, how about taking your personal experiences and talking about something with meaning? How about talking about your escapism from the reality that your perverted lifestyle has kept you an embarassed shut-in, a life that you have created, based on fear and conflict avoidance because you lack the moral or personal fortitude to stand up for what you want in life.
Hey GG - Have you noticed that there are people running for President this year? Have you noticed that your Gay Agenda (GA) has been missing from this years' discussions? Why is that? Perhaps because the GA left the democrats without a new President?!
Hey GG - Have you noticed that your readership is falling off due to boredom?
Hey GG - Get a life. Hey GG - go and start donating your time to a non-profit. There is even a non-profit with the GA. Get a life by giving back.
Yours truly!

Starshine,
One time last year, during the summer, I got off the exit on Mission and I saw a man literally with his hands clasped together, swaying in the wind, with now shoes, and in terrible shape. I rolled down my window and asked if he was OK.
He said he hadn't eaten in 4 days and was really down on his luck. He had a half a cup of coffee and he was literally praying to God out loud for help, for merciful help. His entire body shook, and I thought he might pass out.
I told him I would be back in 10 minutes with food and anything else I could find. I was literally in tears as he blessed me and thanked me, as I drove away.
I rushed home, made an entire loaf of french bread while my wife gathered a couple of extra pairs of shoes, 3 pairs of socks, a sweater, and fifty dollars cash. I also put several bottles of water. It was the bestest care package ever.
I thought I was literally serving Jesus. It reminded me of my brother who was homeless for 10 years, addicted to Crack. (He is better now, makes more $ than me!)
Anyway. There is some passage in the bible that says the beggar you deny is me (meaning Christ)
When I returned, nary 15 minutes had gone by, I had a box full of good food, warm clothing, money.
But my friend was gone. His half-empty coffee cup still in the place he once stood.
I parked, walked around looking for half an hour and never did find that fellow.
Maybe it was Christ giving me yet another test....
Merry Christmas.

The above comment is of course based on the assumption that a mentally ill person perptrated the attrocity on the mentally ill man.
I would agree if the guy had actually done something wrong. He was just being himself - likely drug or alcohol addiction, or mental illness - and the answer for that is AA, not my tax dollars with SB Mental health. You can't legislate someone to take their meds. Sure if a person is seriously helpless then the govt should treat him. But seriously, have you met the homeless face to face? I think maybe 50 percent of the homeless out there are mentally ill - the rest are drug related.
It always leaves me shaking my head how the government is supposed to take care of people. I am "outraged by the ignorance" of people who defer their responsibility to the community on the government. You feeling bad for the homeless guy? How about going out to meet with him? Give him some food. Give him a bible, a pair of socks. Go pray with him. Roll up your sleeves and stop your liberal whining and do something about it yourself.
And keep your hands out of my pocket.
