Why couldn't Edison lower the power lines below the tree bud? I'll bet the tree was there before the power lines too. That's why it just doesn't seem right.

Why can't the authorities who issued a gun license to these idiots revoke it? If I do something stupid behind the wheel of a car, then I lose my driver's license. If one admittedly accidentally shoots someone or otherwise abuses the privilege to carry a gun, then his license should be revoked.

I've lived in downtown SB for 23 years and have never experienced "choking, gridlocked, crawling, bumper-to-bumper traffic". It really never takes me more than 10 minutes to get anywhere in town (driving the speed limit and even stopping for pedestrians along the way). Maybe Holly should move to the desert.

I think the bulb-outs are great, but at this particular intersection they should only put them in on the upper portion (northwestern?) of the intersection. Buses turn right from Figueroa onto De La Vina regularly and a bulb-out would make that even harder to manuever. A bulb-out on the upper portion would encourage pedestrians to use the side of the intersection where traffic is not turning in to them while drivers try to avoid traffic coming from the opposite direction

If Randall Van Wolfswinkel really wanted to "Preserve Our Santa Barbara" why doesn't this supposed billionaire buy out the Naples Developer and preserve the Gaviota Coast in perpetuity?

Lay Acres doesn't need to lower prices to compete with Whole Foods. Have you shopped at Whole Foods lately?! It's abhorrently expensive! Both stores are beautiful and nice, but don't expect lower prices. That's a joke. If you want low prices, go to Trader Joes - period.
