To the person with the handle Truth_Machine

Since you posted my Edhat handle and my real name on this site, and because you state I may somehow be involved in this act let me say this. I contacted a lawyer and asked him if this was a case of libel. He said it wasn't.

So let me say this. You suck.

I was brave enough to state my real name on Edhat. How about you. I posted another response on Edhat that explained my pov. How about you? Give me a break. I put my name out there and you copied it and posted it here.

Truth_Machine??? Not even.

This is Dan Seibert, DAN39, and lowerwestie saying good night.

See you tomorrow.

Really? Well, tell me about your friends. And I'll tell you about my time working for John McCain. Swear to God, true story.

Mr. Smith, judging you only by your remarks I would say you are an ignoramus of the Senator and homophobic of Mr. Gandrud.

Bong hiit was honest and to the point. So are most of these comments.

Here are my thoughts, from the lower West Side.

Ever see "West Side Story"? The turf war among the young men has been going on forever. In fact, why did Cain kill Abel? That's biblical.

Being high is okay with me. I lived on Ladera St before I moved a block away to my present address. I feel like I must be high in order to live down here. It's the same street where the naked guy breaks into my old address and holds a woman against her will. That was too scary.

Or a year ago when the machete/beating gang incident took place. And that tragic story of the alleged drumk girl that was hit by an alleged drunk driver in October. (two blocks away) We also had a non-gang stabbing take place across the street. Not to mention the 11 unsolved arson fires along the train tracks last October, or the 23 arson fires from 3 years ago. . .

And all the while we will be under 21 feet of water if the Blue Line actually takes place.

So what does it matter to me?

It doesn't matter. 99.99% of the time I never even see these things even though they are happening "right across the street". I onlly read about them here. . .

But Ben Franklin also supported the use of arms against England. And that's where I'm at . . . down here in the lower West Side. I used to live in the very place this guy was tazered and now I'm one block away. Until you've had stabbings, beatings, and arson fires on your block you have no reason to quote the founding fathers. They embraced violence, gained their freedom, and THEN wrote the Constitution.

I wish they had asked me. I'd take 25 grand as my fee, and then use 50 g's on the interested parties. Meaning I would hold meetings at Brophy's, Cold Springs Tavern and Brander vineyard. Just to smooth everyone out. The remaining 25 thou could be spent on cloud seeding next winter. More rain, more fish, more love.

I agree with D of common sense.

If I wanted to dwell on it I could find something offensive about a Don, a Gaucho, a Vaquero, a Royal or a Trojan. But I don't. I just sit at home and pass judgement on all of those that find offense at the word, "Warrior". Those people are nuts.

Thanks Jenna & Starshine for putting this idiot in his place.

The first time I listened to Matt he was about to get suspended. I don't remember why, but they were talking about something the management was against. He was talking with Mike and Taylor on air, and then suddenly it would be silent, and I could tell he hit the kill button. I thought it was so cool to hear someone break the rules, and take on their manager. The following Monday he was indeed off the air, and I was a loyal listener.

Sometime later I met him at one of the Soho patio parties, and yes, I developed a little mancrush on him. How could you not like the guy? Tall, handsome, great voice, (like Jenna) and I felt like he gave me his undivided attention in the few conversations we had.

I still have my photo of the 6,000 people at La Playa stadium. Was that a great day? I'll think of Matt the same way I think of Pasqual's and Jimmy's. There all gone, but those were some great years.

At the same house where I saw Ashleigh, I was putting my blower in the truck when an old station wagon pulled up. A woman got out and asked if I knew "that thing" was illegal. I said yes, and slow spiral began. . .

She marched up to me, arms waving, as she peppered me with questions,

You know that's bad for the environment? "Yes".

You know it's illegal? "Yes".

Well why do you use it??? I felt so little saying, "Because it's faster".

More of a guilt trip followed, until I got in my truck and rolled up the windows, all the while she kept talking. At this point I just drove away.

(Because she was rude to me, I thought the next time I see Ashleigh I'm going to give him a hug. He was nice to me, even though he was saying the same thing.)

That was the first encounter, and there were four more shouting matches until the first week of 2006. She was a block away and we spotted each other at the same time. (think, Ferris Buellar eyeing his sister) I turned off the blower but she drove up, jumped out of the car and said, "This time I'm calling the police!" I said, call the police, I'll be inside the yard mowing the lawn. Sure enough, 20 minutes later a SBPD car with two officers shows up. After talking to her they come and talk to me. I told them I admit to using the gas blower because I've got more than 300 feet of sidewalk to clean, in addition to the property. They were sympathetic, but said the woman insisted on having me cited. I said I was sorry they had to spend their time on this, and I was prepared to suffer the strong arm of the law.

On the afternoon of the hearing I realized the folly of this law. I stood in front of Brian Hill, but the woman never showed up. . . Case dismissed. What a waste! I took a half day off for the first hearing, and more time for the second. I wonder, how much the Court's time is worth? How much time was wasted on this case just because this woman hates gas blowers. Yes, I know, legally she's right, but she ignored her summons to appear, so I go free.

But that's not the end. One week after Angel Linnares was killed on State street, she spotted me again. I saw her pull over as I dashed inside the yard, looking for a place to hide. Thank god there was a children's playhouse in the yard. I ducked inside and stayed there for awhile. And there I stayed, like a little boy hiding from his mommy. I couldn't believe my eyes when I heard footsteps and saw the shoes of and officer walking through the yard!

Honestly, my heart sank when I thought about how many city services were wasted by this woman. Just because she's right, and I'm wrong.

You crack me up. I AM the gardener! And I live on the lower westside. Get it??

Let me try again. Ashleigh broke the law, I broke the law. My point is why bother the police about either?

Now, would you care to assume more about me?
