next time you ride the airbus to lax, count how many drivers you can see from your elevated seat txting on the freeway. all ages, cars, work trucks, male and female, its crazy, bit of an eyeopener.

save gator boy.....its a great looking mural....and did de la guerra plaza suddenly move a block north.
unless your vision can bend 90 degrees around corners, its a physical impossibility to see the mural from the plaza. ( more's the pity)
the hlc all agree its an impressive piece but are strangled by their need to uphold the Spanish design. they must mean like the ugly monstrosity housing charles schwab across the street..
in sb, young sons taking over the family business and wanting to put their own mark on it and keeping the family tradition going, especially an well known institution like the cajun kitchen makes for a great story...and ya, its in my rotation of sb restaurants, i like that place.
maybe the city council will get a clue.
