The question arises, Does love need to be of a certain duration to be considered a "true love"? Can a couple be in love for a short segment of time? 2 weeks/3months/1year. Does a 50 year marriage = love? Can love be a passing fancy? My thinking is love is an emotion we allow ourselves to be in or "fall into" and there is no time table. If we allow ourselves to be there "in love" ,we on the other hand , can remove ourselves.
