Saddle Bags are about balance and esthetics but safety is a big part too. Both bags must be of the same weight and size to allow proper function while riding your bike. First off purchase (if you don't have one already) a bike rake for either the front or rear of your bike (both if you plan on cross-country riding). The Bike Rack allows for a stable mounting of accessories and a safety barrier between your bags and baskets, and the tires of your bike.Baskets can either be made or purchased but remember, the more you add to your bike, the more weight you also adds to the stress on your tires will add to wear and tear, plus will decrease your speed. I used wire racks and inserted a tethered leather bag with a tethered button clasp for moderate security and closure, I also used bungee cords to hold down items strapped to the top of the Bike rack.

I found out long ago after identifying a Deceased Classmate and Co-worker who had been drinking and driving and laid on the Stainless steal table in the Morgue in two separate pieces that if you HAVE to have Alcohol or a Hit or Toke of any drug to be social around others, YOU are already addicted to that Drink, Hit or Toke. For the Wine Tasters (Wino's) this site dictates proper Wine Tasting Technique; http://www.winecountry.com/winetastin...

An ounce of Prevention is better than a Pound of pain. The kid maybe cool if he takes his med's and continues therapy but what happens when he fails either? Besides the Law is there for a reason, and the restraining order is temporary and can be reviewed at anytime, off-the-cuff comments do have negative effects...

I remember the method was to sweep the County and deposit the unwanted, unclean and useless into either San Luis Obispo or Ventura Counties; even into the lovely town of Taft, Ca. was a great place to take the homeless, that way if they tried to walk back to Santa Barbara they would be eaten by the mountain lions or Coyotes. This method was really popular just before Fiesta Days were to start.

Take down the License number of the offending vehicle (Car, Motorcycle, Truck) and report it by heading down to the Police or up to the Sheriff's Department and filling out a Personal Complaint. Call the SB Police Department via your Cell/Sat phone to the Non-Emergency number (805) 963-0611 or SB Sheriff's Office Dispatch (805) 683-2724 and report the illegal parking, the Department /Office will request a Cell/Sat photo of the violator's illegally parked vehicle for present proof. Now if you were trapped in you vehicle by another driver also report that to the Officer/Dispatcher so they know that the violator is present at the scene and impeding your ability to exit your vehicle.

It is this reason, why I left the Catholic Church, was after spending two separate weekends at the Mission Santa Barbara Seminary as a High school Teenager, and both times I was told by underclassmen NOT to come to the school if I valued my behind. That many of the senior staff and friers in training regularly sexually abuse the young males for their pleasure. I had spoken to my parents but they denied all of it saying according to Church doctrine that no man has any right to abuse another for sexual pleasure and yet they too turned a blind eye to the truth. I tried the police but was told it was a church matter and that they would handle it internally, I contacted my Pastor who said that the Order was its own and that they would handle it, I concluded truthfully that my observations and concerns would never be taken seriously by any authority and to tell my parents that if sent I would take the streets over being someones lap-puppet. I attended Dos Pueblos High School through graduation; 1985.
