Well! It's about time the Queens came out and started giving this town a "Three-Snaps" of a good time. Here in DC, we lost our Drag circuit when Baseball came crashing into town with their Stadium (Which is loosing money hand over fist) and trashed all the brightest and splashiest venues. Now the girls work the streets and NY instead of lip-syncing Janet Jackson to the "closeted" congressmen. You Go Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey People! Didn't you recieve your "Kick-Back" check? I know the EPA recieved theirs and a cut of the profits made by allowing the County to use their facility. Oh! by the way, "Big Oil" says, "Let's all just get a' long". Ha-Ha-Haaaaa!!!!!!!

To Roth or NOT. I have an IRA (Traditional) and most of my fellow co-workers are against the idea of "saving for a rainy day". Maybe it is the idea of NOT living for the moment, not buying as many toys as possible so that when you die, YOU WIN!!!! I look at it, as just maybe, I might live longer than the Government expects me to and if so, can I actually live on Government subsidies, food and public housing? I might but wouldn't be great if I didn't have to......
I guess, that even though I am one of those "First-time X'ers", I still have a Boomer's mentality.

WOW! OMG! Santa Barbara was placed under these rules of flight?!
Living out here in Northern Virginia, we city folk still can't fly a kite anywhere near (10 ft.) a Government building for fear that it may have an explosive device attached to it or may carry a GPS, listening, photograghic device. The response is still," Shoot first, interrogate later" - CIA protocol.
As for carry-on or check in? Our Government is still calling 'G.I. Joe' Action figure and accessories, "Potentially Dangerous, Weapons of Mass Destruction".
So how is your neck-of-the-woods?????

On In-Flight Weirdness

"vbkris", It is a known fact in prison and jail, many sexual offenders will be themselves victims of what they had inflicted on others but really never assures those who have become one out of two females to be raped or molested (in their lifetime..ie.FBI) I have dated four women who they themselves been raped as a child or as an adult by a boyfriend or a relative. I found that understanding and reassurance that they are NOT at fault and that they are NOT viewed by the ones that love them as dirty or damaged is the fastest way of recuperation and that they tell more people and free themselves from the guilt they have been made to feel.
I hope this woman lets the pain go, she was NEVER at fault or should accept blame for the monster that attacked her and hurt her. It always makes me angry but that never helps. For those who have been raped / molested or those who know someone who was or has been attacked, voice the attack to your love one or seek out those groups that accept open discussion of what happened.

Know that the attacker is rewarded from your silence but is punished from your admission.

Gay Girl's got it right or more so, society is finally getting it right. Gays are NOT such a threat to families anymore; though they NEVER were.
Now all the Anti-Gay religious folk are running to make their own encaves and their neighborhoods aren't safe at all to visit or live in.

Well, this has a great impact on human development. Since moving to two (2) other Major Cities (Detroit, DC), I find that many children become cowards as adults. They shun the outdoors and anything that is NOT in a cage or bowl. It is really a pity that many adults on the East Coast believe that if the dog or cat is loose, then those are "Wild Animals". These same people spend every waking hour e-mailing, text-messaging and cell-phone talking from the indoors and the only way they get a tan is from going to a salon and using a tanning bed. I have many people from the 'City', tell me that I must have been raised by wolves because of my easiness around all animals but the truth is I hiked the Los Padres National Forest for over 15 years. I encountered all form of wild creature and NEVER felt scared or threatened unless it was another human (they are so unpredictable). I have seen a few Condors, black bears, mountain lions and Rattle snakes and as long as I gave respect, I got respect (that and I didn't wear a lot deoderant when I hiked).
I encourage the local kids (Ghetto Rats) to get out and explore this world but they just ignore me and go back to their X-Box 360's and Cell-phone's. Oh well........

I work with many in our Armed service, both in and acitive service. Many tell me that what the recruiter told them when they signed-up and what was the reality of treatment is really TWO different animals. What they promise is "You will be taken care of" what it really comes down to is, "We take care as long as your doing our bidding ie. fighting in war".
I chose NOT to join up because of contact with NON-recruiters who spoke the truth and NOT the Govt.'s speel. I have witnessed and recieved testimony from those on the sh*tty end of the stick. The VA is Govt. run and thus is Heavily-FLAWED.
A solution is a non-profit group that has pull with local and federal assisstance to pursue for the SOLDIER and not the Government.

OMG!!!
Just the other day I got this speeding ticket.
Seems like I was flying down the highway at around 103.6 miles an hour in a school zone during school hours. I was listening to my XM radio at 6000 Decibales, trying to look cool in my Ruby Red 2008 Dodge Viper SRT convertible, you know, seat lowered back, (almost in a horzontal position). This CHP cycle was blaring its siren and flashing its light's for the last 24 miles behind me before I left the freeway. I guess to was the two car road-block that stopped me but really think they were just trying to wreck my day; I mean, isn't it my GOD-GIVEN right to drive the way I want??????

On Thank You, Officer. No Really.

The bad water, waste in the drinking water, leaking toxins and that non-existant 'GRANDJURY'. Well, the Pay-off is $4-Mill, that sure will offer payment for the destruction to the environment and the poisoning of the population. And that "GRANDJURY", maybe more concerned citizens that are aware of the condition of their Community and will uphold to the highest regard their position will step forward and take control of these issues. Nahhhhhh, what am I thinking, it's just the "same ol', same ol".
