dont know how they can curtail abuse.The end of prop.215 after it lists around11 reasons for prescription the last statement "is as deemed neccessary by the physican" meaning hangnail,heavy menstrual problem or any reason Thats unless Bearman changes this I love and respect Dr.Dave. But how bout getting Dr's .to take medicare medi-cal or how bout affordable meds these clubs are way overpriced no compassion in SB Lots of 18-28 healthy peeps get rec. dont care about prices have money,jobs,rich parents and the REALLY sick ,the peeps 215 is all about who are low income get bubkis,nada,nothing!!

The fact especially in Ca. the availability is already there.Would there be abuse, yes but no worse then what already exists with tobacco,booze and presc.drugs.Gateway drug theory is B.S. The funds for our state alone would be like going from a $20 billion defecit to a $50 billion profit. The time is now it is already the will of the majority of people in the U.S.All oppossing views are that of "reefer madness syndrom" The only reason pot was outlawed in the 30's was pure racism.Most fed.govt. views are total distortions and outright lies.Why is this the USA's top crop along with being the top crop for 15 states, the top 3 crops in 30 states

The main reason pot outlawed in the 30's was White Mans fear of the attack and raping of the good white women by blacks and hispanics after smoking this danderous drug.I call it "Reeefer Madness Syndrom". Moving marijuana to a Schudule 1 govt. says this drug has no value of any kind.Few studies done due to suppossed lack of product to test.Because of the paradox of the marijuana tax stamp act,in order to get the stamp you had to have product thus the paradox .Everyone seems to forget for the last 30/yrs. Feds have had 13 medical patients whom rec. a cannister monthly of 300 pre rolled joints grown by the feds in Ms.and processed in N.C. 4 survive.Every positive study from Mayor La Guardia to today are rebuffed by opponents"Reefer Madness syndrom"!

within a month of A/G's comments many S.B. dispensarys will be OPEN AGAIN.Thank Obama and God.S.B. Co. can handle 12 dispensarys.Keep in mind Ventura Co.has NONE ! to the North I don't how far you have to go, at least 200 miles.Suppossedly over 30K patients in S.B,SLO and Ventura Counties.The math is simple.Re: abuse the problems really rest with the Dr's.If you read Prop.215 H.B.420. carefully a Dr. can prescribe "as deemed neccessary by physican"It goes to quality of life.Dr's. in other states write out opiates to almost anyone with a $100 No one has ever overdosed on pot can the same be said of opiates and muscle relaxers !

the fact remains where there were 12 dispensarys in S.B. 2 or 3 have reopened along with a few delivery services.The feds managed to do this without any raids or even spending a dime.It is funny how the fed. govt. chooses to circumvent state laws which don't agree with policy.I am not so naive to say problems exist and need to be addressed.Most clubs had extensive rules and good rapport with neighbors.The misinformation here in the comments section show the lack of knowledge of most on this subject.
