Leave the AG rates alone. AG properties provide employment and simultaneously open space. Many AG properties are mandated agriculture with limiting building or development. The agricultural industry has been hit the hardest. While family run nurseries have dried up Oprah's lawns are still green. The hedges to her property in Montecito use more water than a ten acre nursery.

Bravo Helene! Look what Caltrans did to Coast Village Road. Caltrans has very little regard for our community. Their job is to put in a freeway, Helene's job is to make sure if it gets done it's gets done properly and doesn't create more disaters for us locals. Thank you Helene!

I admire his fantasy and enthusiasm but can you imagine the crowds sailboats, trailers and storage units for rooms will attract...not cool. Tone it down but make the fantasy chic not kitsch, , keep it green and appeal to the tourist crowd that brings moola to Santa Barbara. Lower State Street and the funk zone already attract a funky unattractive crowd waking around in flip flops drinking wine. Think up not down.

The majority of individuals with mental and emotional issues all suffered extreme emotional or phyiscall abuse early on their childhoods. The rich do a much better job at hiding the one member of their family who is the loudest alarm bell sounding off the socially unacceptable and unhealthy dynamic in their household . A new (always expensive) car, apartment and trust fund is always the bandage applied on a huge wound that will never heal without true insight, determination and proper care. These parents know their child is a walking, driving time bomb that they have let loose into the world. What type of relationship does a young boy have with his mother and father's dynamic to eventually feel that all females on the planet need to be massacred? The answer is not complicated.
