It thats true "The Tea Ten" can never buy a house, own a car, get married - is this true?

Who is Chris Moniker?

Hey maybe all of the colleges can pitch in and buy that land that was burned and put housing for more students.

This could be an opportunity to really up the necessary housing to over 200,000.00 students more. Think of all the money these Colleges could make for the whole City.

(More Vitriol for Ya!!!!!)

I previously mentioned a few months back that this over filling of student spots would lead to big trouble. This city is only so big.

With over six colleges there are too many roudy unsubordinate partiers in this town.

Sad but true, it's only a matter of time before this thing gets more out of control.

A larger more "dense" population leads to more incidents of "everything" every type of crime goes up!

Santa Barbara Sand commented that this Vet inconvenienced people. I say, He did'nt stop the freeway -Authorities did!. Authorities have no really good reason to shut down the whole freeway - in both directions!

All they had ro do was shut off the on ramps and off ramps an the intersection above the freeway. You gotta be kiddding me! I guess we are all like dumb sheep, we are that clueless.

We'll blame this Veteran Guy named Van Tassel for a bad decission by the sherrif or a bad policy by the State.

Again my point is there was really no need to stop the whole City of Santa Barbara for one guy who was not even shooting.

sbsleuth99 in your comment you are wrong. The authorities did OVERREACT by closing down the whole freeway. does any body see this or a are you all a bunch of sheep!

Dhibbard commneted, he says no one was hurt.

The authorities chose to hurt everyone by punishing us all when they un-necessarily closed down the main artery to our functionality - the 101!

Come on Dhibbard !

Don't be sheep! The man didn't stop the freeway, the authoritied did. Why? To blame the poor fool for something big! He was not shooting at cars, he was technically on freeway property - but it was a mistake to stop the whole city. Do you people see this?

It also was un-necessary to CLOSE THE FREEWAY IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. Why did the cops do this, just because some poor veteran is over expressing himself?

More people we're liable to get hurt by being stopped in traffic gridlock. Than hurt by one man with a flag in one hand and little gun in the other. blame this one on the Authorities - I do.

I don't get the Sherrifs, they rather shut down a whole city over one fool!

Thats authority for you - simply stupid.

Signed,
Morpheum

On Police Take Stand in Cooney’s Assault Case

The POLICE in Santa Barbara do have a reputation for treating Mexican or indegenous people differently. This also applies to the way they treat all people of color. A few years back they shot a black guy for having a gun out on State St. That same year a white fool had a gun out in front of Ralphs and they shot him with rubber bullets and took him into custody.

I cant beleive they let Musser "the dipshiz?" go in his house to change his clothes. How nice of the Santa Barbara (racist) Police Dept. to do that for his dumbself.

They better send Musser away real quick-like, he admitted it. He obviously premeditated this by coming out side his house with a Knife.

Give him the Chair, lethal injection, look at all the people lifes he is affecting. Including the reputation of the Santa Barbara P.D. (who's reputation is dirty anyway). Although, if this was the Sherrif Department Musser would probably would still be at home watching T.V. and the neighbors would be wrongly accused from next door for being Mexican.

Racism rears it ugly head again in SB.

That guy wasn't too bright in general, people that knew him said he was quiet; that he had a reputation for getting angry quickly, a frustrated person. I saw the guy down town here and there.

The guy was not her boyfriend, how can you talk to someone for three weeks and post up in the news that he was her "boyfriend"?

I feel really bad for her family, my condolences.
