Amen bellefox - where is the accountability for the exponentially increasing escalation in gang crime on the watch of the mayor, police chief and council? Hopefully at the next election and it will not be a simple promotion and reward of one of two of the current councilmembers (Schneider, Falcone) to Mayor, or this will never stop. It is time for CHANGE!

The poodle has "random type bolding disease" known to cause one to spasmodically hit the bold button for no reason. Knock it off! I can't even read this stuff past the first paragraph it makes me nervous - I feel like the author is going to impulsively take a swing at me any second! It's like someone with tourettes syndrome that talks really quiet then suddenly bursts out talking REALLY LOUD for no reason...take a pill or an english class Nick!

Both of these questions are really straying from the issue I was addressing, which is TOLERANCE and ACCOMMODATION of illegal immigration itself, not tolerance of law-breaking by illegals, nor did I suggest that anyone is CALLING for illegal immigration , it is something that just happens when we allow it.

Illegal immigration is tolerated and accommodated by bi-lingualism, tolerance of brown supremicist "support" groups such as Casa de la Raza, Mecha all of which we TOLERATE. MECha basically discourages assimilation and wants to move the Mexican border North. They don't want to become Americans, in fact the term "Mexican-American" is despised. These are not people that are proud to be Americans or even want to be. They just want this to be part of Mexico. Probably a fair bet they support the idea of illegal immigration, since legal immigration requires you to learn what it is to be AMERICAN, including learning the language.

See http://www.nationalmecha.org/about.html for the agenda
to reconquer the Southern U.S. (California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Texas) returning it to Aztlan. Google Aztlan, Google MECha...then ask yourself who are the true racists. Answer your questions? Thanks again for asking.

You're gradually shifting your request binkster. This tricky slight of hand may work in a verbal conversation, when taking advantage of one's doubt of their own short term memory, clouding the original question by slightly rewording it, but when the conversation is documented it doesn't work well.

Your original request:

"Please cite an instance of anyone calling for TOLERANCE of law-breaking by illegals"

Your slightly modified request:

"Please provide citation to anyone calling for illegal immigration"

There is a big difference. Settle on a question and I can settle on an answer.

Tolerance of illegal immigration in the first place, is tolerance of lawbreaking. What is it about the "illegal" part of illegal immigration that people don't seem to understand? Illegal immigration is law-breaking. Allow that law to be broken and away goes respect for the law. Thanks for asking.

By the same token, there are legal leftys and legal rightys. Nobody has a problem with either unless they commit a crime, so how can this be a matter of race? Why do you think it acceptable to tolerate crime from illegal leftys (or illegal rightys for that matter) when they shouldn't be here in the first place? People with your tolerance of everything and anything and acceptance of law breaking (beginning with immigration law) is why the rest of us are forced to tolerate all of this.

Nice try Eastbeach but bad analogy - Leftmanship and rightmanship have nothing to do with whether a person is here legally or not. There are illegal leftys and illegal rightys. There are illegal Asians, Europeans as well as illegal Hispanics. This not a race issue as much as people like yourself would like to persist in making it one. It is not a question of anyone's personal attributes or characteristics, it is a question of how much the lack of immigration enforcement contributes to crime in the area. Stop with the tired race baiting, nobody with any intelligence falls for it anymore.

Yes ditto - very sad - Tony Rose has been here over thirty years - once had a store in Goleta and some very funny radio ads. People who actually knew cameras before digital and now everyone thinks they know cameras. I guess the remodeling in that shopping center was what finally did them in. Wish the article was sooner before they actually closed, would have been nice to drop by one last time. Steve if you read this, how about posting your future plans if any? Thanks for all the help through the years.
