Congrats Sam - on a 'long and winding' road of success. you did pull off a miracle having a facility like the Bowl in a neighborhood and what a special venue it is. here's to your retirement, altho I'm sure it won't be quiet LOL - rock on! we'll see you on stage. Peace! Mo

One of the most brilliant commentators on our society. I reveled in her one-woman show in NYC in the 70s - "Appearing Nightly" seeing it five times. She whetted my appetite on "Laugh In" but it was on the stage where Tomlin really came alive. Writing partner Jane Wagner and she have mined some of the most fantastic subjects - some taboo, some family truths, and of course the generational truths. Caught "Search for Signs..." in L.A. and all I can say is GET A TICKET! Don't miss the Lily experience. You'll thank me.

Dubious hubris, just not thinking about the correct usage of English language. Have had to correct this mistake too many times - it gets perpetuated everytime it's written by hopefuls organizing an event for the first time.

Friendship Center is TOPS in my book - they take such good care of the aging population with Alzheimer's. Had my mom over there for nearly two years and she called it "school" - which apparently most clients call FC. I could not have cared for my mom while she was at home without FC and the support of Alzheimer's Assoc.

Having done work with the Wildlife Waystation in the Angeles Nat'l Forest for five years -- yes WE, the humans, are encroaching on the habitats of these wild and Native animals. What about building "drinkers" for the wildlife? All it takes is an old tub and water - and someone to refill the tub regularly. Drinkers were proven to keep wildlife at bay - trust me, they don't want to interact with humans! Martine Collette, who runs the WW, has these and many more ideas on how we can live with wildlife. Just google Wildlife Waystation.

BRAVO Dr. Dawson!
with the unconditional love a pet provides, I'm sure it's important to those people who are homeless to know there's a good soul like you to be there for their best friend.

c'mon revisionist - he was being inclusive by speaking en Espanol. Being inclusive is something we will all have to begin doing sooner than later.
My grandparents were immigrants from Italy and learned the English language, but it was a different time in this country's history. Attitudes have changed and it's great to know more than one language. Look at the glass half full and not half empty. It's a good thing to expand your horizons.
