Mitchum has all if the talking points to win an election, in Oklahoma. On every issue he has the opposite opinion of most voters in this district. Every one of Capps's ads are true. I bet she gets quite a few Republican votes.

Capps had no power to stop the Camp 4 annexation, unless the Democratic party wins control of the US house of Representatives. House resolution 3313 which takes possession of Camp 4 into a federal trust, was introduced by Republican Rep. Doug La Malfa from northeastern California. Since his party controls which bills actually get voted on, it will go before the House and it will pass. There is nothing that Capps can do that will stop this bill. I am amazed at how little many of the posters here really understand about how the United States Congress works. This is simple high school civics curriculum.
Capps could introduce all the bills she wants, but Boehner and the GOP leadership decide what bills even receive consideration. They have absolutely no reason to block 3313, or to allow a bill that would reform the BIA to come to a vote, The Santa Ynez valley and Santa Barbra county had their chance to negotiate with the Chumash, but they walked away. Now they have no leverage and they are going to lose. To blame Capps is the ultimate in jackassery, considering that she has been pushing for local negotiations for years.

So for Tieber goofy yahoo groups are credible while every real news source on earth (except for.ru sites) is not to be believed. This poster is seriously misinformed. This article is about Capps' drunken former employee, but since there is an election soon why Tieber do you think that Mitchum would have a different policy on Ukraine?

Darryl, It doesn't take a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. I am none of the people that you mentioned, just an observer that can put two and two together. You And your client Morua are frauds. He has not taken compete responsibility for his actions by blaming his former employer for a crime that was 100% his responsibility. You, Dies, Stoll, the News Press, and Lance are clearly working together. Why?

The Chumash are not a "foreign government ", they are a sovereign nation which means that they have many buy not all of the rights of any of the the fifty states. Virtually every change they make to their sovereign nation must be approved by the United States. Any land that the Chumash includes in their reservation is held in trust by the US.
