Dang, seven dolphins, I'm wit chu on this one. The peripheral canal? That crazy plan has been resurrected?

p.s. Blowhards Michael Bennett and Salud Carbajal have had their 15 minutes this season. Yawn.

On Lieutenant Governor Talks Mitigation

Dudes, I hear the former NP news reporters are asking for readers and advertizers to boycott the paper. A business owner should ask himself/herself why place ads in a paper where editorials are untrue? If the editorials have false info, then maybe the news stories do too.

Also, during Gap Fire evacuations, very few people were relying on the NP. They weren't a free website, they didn't have the army of reporters they used to have. sad, sad, sad. ... Now Travis going off deep end and making up stories.

On Mayor Is Not Resigning

I'd like to make a comment to any of our youth reading this article and blog. Please don't fight against yourselves. Fight against the 'man,' the system. It's not about you being Mexican or Latino. It's about class and inequality. Some people have money, thus education and opportunities. If you were born into poverty, you can get out of it. Do take advantage of the city-sponsored programs. As boring as school is, you have to play the game and graduate. When you get to SBCC, you can take classes that are fun and interesting. Multi-media, art, computers, graphic design.

Why do Latino boys fight each other? These are not your enemies. Your enemy is racism and classism. Your enemy is people who don't want you to have political power; people who don't care about your future or earning potential.

Don't fight each other. Fight for your place in this world.

I have not smoked that much yet today, but I do know it is FARREN Road.

Ferren was a famous guy from UCSB who moved back to New Jersey a few years ago.

If you smoke enough dope you can squint your eyes and imagine the subscription count is 35,000.

I guess when you're an ignorant redneck you don't have to obey environmental laws.

On State Supreme Court Declines Review of Suit Against County

Measure V rocked. Geez, 70 percent of the voters supported it, and only Travis Armstrong had negative things to say. What a dope. Once again, he's out of touch with reality and with the community. Even the numb-nutted taxpayers association got this one right. I just may take an adult ed class and improve my mind.

On June 3 Election Results for Santa Barbara County

Men and their macho hormones have messed up everything. Can we hope Hillary Clinton would bring a woman's intelligence and perspective to domestic and international affairs? I don't know, she seems so 'establishment,' but I'd rather take my chances with her, try something new. She might really care about health care reform, education, peace on earth. ... Anyway, it looks like Obama will be our 'man.' We'd better hope he can do the right job. happy mother's day.

On Can the Happy Talk

Oh my god! What?!? This is awesome, dudes! The city is finally doing the right thing. Is there hope for the fish? It's so cool to see them in Mission Creek. this is the best news I've heard all decade.

On Santa Barbara Spends to Save Steelhead

The boycott worked. That's good.
Good people lost their jobs. That's bad.
Is the ship finally sinking?
Or a better question: Can we hope that Travis and Scott Steep are next?
