Jen Malkin
Jen Malkin is the director of advertising, marketing, public relations, and production for The Independent. Jen is also on the board of directors for the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center and the Santa Barbara Dance Alliance. In her spare time, Jen loves running, dancing, hiking, and well, anything active and outdoors. People describe Jen as an "Energizer bunny," and she doesn't disagree.
She loves music, going to shows, theater, concerts, singing in her car, getting her hair done, baking, Frank Sinatra, Social Distortion, traveling, and pin-up art. Laughter is important in her life, although she is still lamenting the end of the show, Lost. She loves her family and friends, and thoroughly appreciates the opportunities that The Indy provides to meet various people by working closely with numerous businesses and organizations.
Next on Jen's agenda? Business school (while staying employed at The Indy!), finishing up her pilates certification, and planning her next tattoo.
