Charity Thoman
Charity Thoman attended Tulane University in New Orleans where she earned an MD and Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in 2005. She completed residency in Internal Medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Dr. Thoman currently serves as Deputy Health Officer for the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, where she oversees the Communicable Disease Control Program. She is very involved with the California Medical Association, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Santa Barbara County Medical Society. She is the mother of three boys, is involved in our local community, and sometimes wears a Batman cape when at home.
