Guacamole with Black Beans
A healthy and simple appetizer, this guacamole with black beans is sure to be a hit at your next party!
Ingredients
- 2 avocados
- ½ lemon
- ½ red onion, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 tbl chopped cilantro
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- ½ cup black beans
- extra cilantro for garnish
Instructions
1. Cut the avocados in half, remove pits, and spoon flesh into a medium size bowl. Juice the lemon over the avocados. Add in the red onion, tomato, and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper and add hot sauce. Mash guacamole with a fork until smooth, but still chunky. Add in the beans and stir to combine. Transfer to serving bowl and garnish with cilantro.
