A group of about 30 protesters, mostly high school students, staged afternoon protests this week outside the District Attorney's Office at 1112 Santa Barbara Street to express their objection to D.A. Christie Stanley's decision to prosecute 14-year-old alleged murderer Ricardo Juarez as an adult. They claim doing so could subject a once-promising student to a life of crime in prison.
