Dear, gentle Katherine! You will be so greatly missed. I am so grateful for the many magical musical memories of we "geishas" in opera chorus, and the dozens of photos dressed as everything from Italian peasants to Renaissance aristocrats, to nuns and war widows -- and always, always so thrilled to be in the company of musicians and singers and artists dedicated to sharing our love affair with the opera.

You always sang like an angel. Now you are singing with them.
Toi! Toi! Toi!
