Kids World in Alameda Park will close temporarily so that city crews can clean the wood structure and apply a preservative, and generally spruce up the popular play area. The closure begins Monday, November 10, and crews will work through to Thanksgiving Day, November 27. The forts, slides, swings, and bridges at Kids World were designed and built by children and parents in 1993, and has proved to be one of the city’s most favored play areas.
